Office III - Planning of emergency infrastructural interventions:

a) Coordinates the activities of the Department in relation to the development of organizational models and procedures to ensure the implementation of housing settlements and school and university facilities in emergency;

b) coordinates the activities of the Department in relation to the development of organizational models and procedures to ensure the continuity of economic activities, production, agriculture, fisheries and livestock, socio-cultural and public functions in emergency;

c) plans and programs technical solutions in the areas of competence referred to in letters a) and b);

d) coordinates the action of the Department, in the areas of competence referred to in letters a) and b), with the components and operational structures of the National Service of Civil Protection and with the independent authorities and competitors under Article 13, paragraph 2, of the Civil Protection Code.

Emergency Housing Service

The Emergency Housing Facilities Service is responsible for:

  1. Development of organizational models and procedures to ensure the implementation of emergency housing settlements for temporary use;
  2. design and planning of possible technical solutions for temporary emergency housing settlements in relation to the different risk scenarios and territories;
  3. liaison with national components and operational structures, and in particular with Regions, Autonomous Provinces and Ministries responsible for the areas referred to in points 1 and 2.

The Emergency School and University Facilities Service is responsible for:

  1. Elaboration of organizational models and procedures to ensure the realization of school and university facilities in emergency for temporary use;
  2. Liaison with national components and operational structures, and in particular with Regions, Autonomous Provinces and competent Ministries, for the areas referred to in points I and 2.
  3. Design and planning of possible technical solutions for school and university structures for temporary use in emergencies in relation to different risk scenarios and different territories;

The Territorial Continuity Service in Emergencies deals with:

  1. Elaboration of organizational models and procedures to ensure on the affected territories the continuity of economic, productive, agricultural, fishing and breeding activities, socio-cultural and public functions in emergency;
  2. Design and planning of possible technical solutions for structures and activities as per point 1 in relation to the various risk scenarios and territories;
  3. Liaison with national components and operational structures, and in particular with the Regions, Autonomous Provinces and competent Ministries, for the areas referred to in points 1 and 2.
