The Young People protagonists of the National Day of Universal Civil Service
The Department attends the Village of Good Practices with I don't take risks
During the National Day of Universal Civil Service, held this afternoon at the Gazometro Park in Rome, the National Department of Civil Protection presented its contribution with the campaign "I don't take risks", which provides communication on the prevention of natural risks and the spread of good practices among citizens by volunteers of civil protection.
The day was opened in the morning by the Head of the Department for Youth Policy and Civil Service Marco De Giorgi, with the participation of the Minister for Youth Policy Fabiana Dadone, the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri and the President of the Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti.
During the day, discussion groups, debates and speeches were held with the participation of young volunteers and civil service organizations, providing them with the opportunity to discuss with Minister Dadone the most relevant issues for the future of Universal Civil Service.
A shared path of analysis and discussion involving the Department of Civil Protection to emphasize how it is to all intents and purposes the objective of the National Service of Civil Protection the increasingly constant participation of young people, especially for the activities of prevention and mitigation of risks.
In the Village of Good Practices, a space dedicated to civil service organizations and the promotion of youth policies, the I don't take risks campaign was the subject of civil service projects in 2015 and 2018, when young volunteers took part in all the activities while being in close contact with a reality that can provide highly formative experiences from a professional and human point of view.
