Knowledge for Action in Prevention and Preparedness KAPP 2024 - Evidenza

The new KAPP 2024 call, released by the European Commission on the Funding & tender opportunities platform, is an excellent chance to detect and co-fund projects to foster cooperation between EU Member States and Participating States in the Union Civil Protection Mechanism.

The KAPP is one of the activities of the EU Civil Protection Knowledge Network created based on a multi-risk approach and the aim of gathering, developing, and spreading up-to-date information with the involvement of civil protection players engaged in disaster management, including through the online platform.
There are three operational areas of the new call: disaster prevention and preparedness and training of players engaged through large-scale exercises.

Project submissions must be sent by April 25 at 5 p.m., along with a letter of support released by the National Civil Protection Authority. Submissions can be sent, within a reasonable timeframe to allow for proper processing by the Department of Civil Protection, to the e-mail bandi.europei@protezionecivile.it.
Please find attached the letter format prepared by the European Commission and the Recommendations indicating the minimum requirements for proposal processing.

An Information Day for the KAPP Call for Proposals 2024 is planned for Thursday, February 15, at 10 a.m. It will be live-streamed on the KAPP call for proposals: Information Day page.

All details can be found on the Knowledge for Action in Prevention & Preparedness page.
