Civil Protection Department at the Anci Assembly 2024
Visitors can learn about the National Service and the IT-alert public warning system at the Lingotto Fiere in Torino from November 20-22
“Facciamo l'Italia, giorno dopo giorno - Let's build Italy, day by day." This is the slogan for the 41st Annual Assembly of Anci, which will be held at the Lingotto in Turin from November 20 to 22. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will be attended by the President of the Republic.
The Department attends Anci 2024 with an exhibition booth where visitors can learn more about the National Civil Protection Service. Attendees will also receive detailed information about IT-alert, the national public warning system that sends important messages to cell phones within a specific geographic area during major emergencies or disasters.
The Anci Assembly 2024 aims to enhance the dialogue between local and central institutions to improve the analysis and feasibility of projects that address the specific needs of individual territories. The topics discussed will include territorial cohesion, social and labor policies, security, public administration, social inclusion, and environmental issues.
The program includes the 20th Congressional Assembly, where, as is customary, a new President of Anci will be elected. This important event marks the beginning of a three-day gathering focused on discussions, reflections, and proposals. Italian mayors will address the key challenges and priorities that must be presented to the country’s institutional leadership.
