Today starts in Campobello di Mazara, in the town of Tre Fontane, the third and final Sicilian stop of the "Terremoti d'Italia" exhibition, organized by the Civil Protection Department, with the contribution of the Sicilian Region and the Municipality of Trapani. The exhibition route, after having touched the cities of Catania and Palermo, will be open free of charge until June 9.

The exhibition, dedicated especially to children and the schools, will understand what an earthquake is and what can be done to reduce its consequences. Visitors, guided by volunteers from the Lares Italia association will also have the chance to experience quakes using two simulators designed to reproduce the seismic movement.

The tour will end with the "I don't risk" communication campaign on good civil protection practices, where local volunteers will talk to visitors about the natural risks to which the area where they live is exposed and share the correct behaviors to prevent disasters and the instructions to follow in case of emergency.

Schools and citizens can book the visit by filling out the online form at the following link. The Exhibition is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm and 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.
