Coronavirus: 17.750 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 17,750 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 21,157.
In detail: there are currently 9,059 positive cases in Lombardy, 2,349 in Emilia-Romagna, 1,775 in Veneto, 863 in the Marche, 814 in Piedmont, 614 in Tuscany, 384 in Liguria, 320 in Lazio, 271 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 243 in Campania, 199 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 170 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 156 in Puglia, 150 in Sicily, 106 in Abruzzo, 103 in Umbria, 59 in Calabria, 47 in Sardinia, 41 in the Aosta Valley, 17 in Molise and 10 in Basilicata.
1,966 patients have recovered. 1,441 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
