Indirizzi e criteri per la microzonazione sismica

The Civil Protection Department has published this slipcase starting from the experience gained from the most recent earthquakes and considering the need of developing seismic microzonation studies. These studies regard geotechnical surveys carried out by the Regions to study the dinamic behaviour of the ground, as their legislation requested such competence. Thanks to a working group that includes experts of the Regions and the Civil Protection Department, microzonation studies at different levels and application modalities have been standardized in the sectors of urban, emergency and project planning. 

The themes of the volumes can help those who, starting off with a good basic background in one of the sectors of local seismic response, wish to gain a complete knowledge of the seismic risk issues that need to be dealt with.
