Mobility

In preparation for the Jubilee of Youth 2025, a special mobility plan has been created to help pilgrims navigate Rome and reach the celebration sites safely and efficiently. Additionally, various measures have been implemented to support young pilgrims traveling to the capital, including additional train services and improvements to road and highway services.
During Jubilee week, Rome will host a variety of events across the city. Pilgrims are encouraged to use the upgraded local public transport for this occasion. All relevant information can be found on the Roma Servizi per la Mobilità website, managed by the Municipality of Rome. Additionally, a special parking plan for tourist buses has been implemented, with designated areas throughout the city to help organize traffic and minimize congestion.
On August 2 and 3, preferred routes to access the three entrance gates of the Tor Vergata area have been identified and marked on the official map provided and updated by the Municipality of Rome. Civil protection volunteers, law enforcement officers, and personnel in charge of event organization and security will support these routes. Along the various paths, there will be water distribution points and medical facilities available to assist young pilgrims
To enhance the connection between Fiera di Roma, which is hosting over 22,000 pilgrims, and Tor Vergata, the Italian State Railways Group has implemented a special rail service. This service will operate on August 2 and 3, with direct trains departing from the Fiera di Roma station to Ciampino. Additionally, transport companies Cotral and Atac have developed specific plans for the event, including special shuttle services to and from Fiera di Roma.
Attention has been focused on ensuring mobility for people with disabilities looking to access the Tor Vergata site. A specific plan has been developed that includes dedicated parking areas, shuttle services, designated tourist bus stops, and assistance points. For more information, please refer to the official plan of the Municipality of Rome.
