The third National Week of Civil Protection ends with a day dedicated to civil protection volunteers

The third National Week of Civil Protection ends with a day dedicated to civil protection volunteers. The event will be streamed live on the youtube channel of the Department and will be translated into Italian Sign Language.

"Prepararsi e pianificare con il volontariato organizzato di protezione civile" will be held on October 16 in Rome at the Institute Cine-TV Roberto Rossellini from 10.00 to 13.30 and will be presented by Tonia Cartolano of Sky TG24. Among the guests also Francesca Malaguti of Rai Radio1, Patrizia Senatore of TG3, Alessandro Farruggia of "Quotidiano Nazionale".  Will be present in the studio among others, the Head of the Department, Fabrizio Curcio; the Deputy Head of Department, Titti Postiglione; the Director of the Office of Volunteering and Resources of the National Service, Sisto Russo; the leaders of the Volunteer Service, Filomena Papa and the Service of Civil Protection Planning and exercise activities, Paola Pagliara.

Volunteers of civil protection will be the focus of the event. They will connect with the studio from their cities - live or through a recorded video - to share their experiences and their ordinary activities. The projects of the organizations enrolled in the central list, in the field of civil protection prevention will be presented: experiences to improve the response of the territory and the citizens to an emergency.

A moment of dialogue on civil protection volunteers concludes an intense week, consisting of exercises, working tables, exhibitions and workshops. A week full of ideas and reflections for a civil protection that wants to grow.
