As of today, May 6, the final ranking list has been approved by Decree of the Head of Department No. 1114, dated May 5, 2025. This list identifies 29 volunteers, aged between 16 and 28 years, selected to participate in the National Youth Panel focused on civil protection topics. The Panel, established by Decree of the Head of Department No. 4138 on November 22, 2024, is designed to facilitate dialogue and collaboration, aiming to engage the younger generation with the world of organized civil protection volunteering and the activities of the National Service.

Applicants can find their ranking by referring to the final ranking list attached to the Decree signed on May 5. Please note that in the case of a tie in rankings, preference is given to the youngest volunteer. If any selected candidate is unable to accept their place or decides to withdraw, the ranking list will be used to select from the eligible participants.

A total of 213 volunteers, belonging to local and national volunteer organizations, replied to the expression of interest promoted from March 7 to 22 by the Civil Protection Department.

After collecting the applications, the evaluation committee, made up of Department staff, prepared a provisional ranking based on the qualifications submitted by the candidates. They identified 60 applicants who were admitted for interviews, as outlined in the Decree of appointment of the committee.

On April 10, 11, and 14, the evaluation committee conducted online interviews with candidates from the provisional ranking list. The main topics discussed during the selection process included the candidates' motivation, soft skills, and experience within their associations. Additionally, the candidates' knowledge of general topics, such as National Service and organized civil protection volunteering, which are essential for the Panel's work, was also assessed.

Volunteers appointed as members of the Panel, by Decree of the Head of Department No. 1115 of May 6, 2025, will soon be reached by the Department to agree on starting the Panel's work.
