The 2025 edition of National Civil Protection Week begins on Sunday, October 5, with an Open Day at the Department. This is a unique opportunity to visit the facilities where our territory is monitored daily and where crises are managed during emergencies.
Our experts will take you on a guided tour of the monitoring rooms for seismic, volcanic, and meteorological-hydrological activities, helping you understand how risk forecasting and prevention are conducted.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to observe the workings of the Italy Situation Room, which collects and monitors information from the field 24 hours a day. You will also discover the operational core of civil protection, where coordination takes place during major national emergencies.
Four time slots are available, subject to availability: 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm.
