Safety and health at school: 17th edition of Good Practices Award "Vito Scafidi"
This year, thanks to collaboration between the department and Cittadinanzattiva, a special section "Give Voice to Safety and Sustainability" will be introduced
The call for participation in the 17th edition of the "Good Practices Award for Safety and Health Education at School-Vito Scafidi" has been published, held by Cittadinanzattiva's School Network and aimed at all schools of all levels, which can participate by sending projects by Sunday, March 5, 2023.
The purpose of the award is to collect, reward and spread the most significant and innovative project activities, experiences and products realized in and by Italian schools in at least one of these three thematic areas: safety at school and on the territory, education for well-being and education for active citizenship.
For this 17th edition, a special section has been introduced, "Give voice to safety and sustainability," promoted by the Department of Civil Protection. The goal is to involve students in the definition and production of messages to share with their peers and adults to raise awareness on the importance of doing prevention against risks and to provide them with basic information on good civil protection practices to follow in case of emergency.
A jury of experts will evaluate the candidate projects and select the best works, which will be awarded during an event to be held on April 19, 2023, in Rome, at the Centro Europa Experience - David Sassoli.
All information and the call for proposals are available on Cittadinanzattiva's website.
