NRRP, a timeline highlighting key implementation milestones is now online
Featuring updated data on resources deployed, goals achieved, and ongoing activities

The timeline detailing the key stages for implementing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) for the Civil Protection Department is now available online. The main objectives of the Plan include protecting communities, restoring damaged public facilities, enhancing land security, and preventing potential future damage. The Department will manage a total investment of €1.2 billion, which is allocated for safety measures, restoration efforts, and risk reduction projects.
This tool is designed to provide citizens and operators with a comprehensive overview of the measures taken to mitigate hydraulic and hydrogeological risks in the most vulnerable areas. These regions are often impacted by disasters such as floods and landslides.
The timeline provides a clear view of the entire journey, from the European-level approval of the Plan to the allocation of funds, from the definition of intervention lists to the stipulation of agreements with Regions and Autonomous Provinces, and the commencement of activities. Each stage corresponds to a specific objective of the Plan and tracks the progress of activities.
The timeline responds to the need to make the Department's activities transparent and to highlight its commitment to managing NRRP resources.
