Livorno: civil Protection a study meeting organized by the Geologist Order of Tuscany

«Civil Protection between normality and emergency» 

«Civil Protection between normality and emergency» is the title of the study day organized by the Geologist Order of Tuscany, in Livorno at Villa Letizia residence, branch of "Economics and Legislation of Logistics Systems" of the University of Pisa.

Together with the Civil Protection Head of Department participated from Pisa University both Antonio Arena and Alfredo Fioritto professor of administrative law, the commandant of the Livorno Academy, Admiral Pierpaolo Ribuffo, the Councillor at the Court of Auditors Mauro Orefice and the Mayor of Livorno, Filippo Nogarin.

During the round table participants discussed about the civil protection’s broad framework. Among them were present Alessandro Paola, commander of the Livorno Fire Fighters, and the deputy mayor of Genoa, Stefano Balleari, who discussed the challenges faced by the Liguria on the occasion of the recent collapse of the Morandi bridge.

The day ended with a speech by the Head of the Civil Protection Department, who highlighted that: "Days like this, besides offering an important opportunity for confrontation between the world of civil protection and the supervisory authorities, contribute to the growth of our National Service, which draws strength and energy from the collaboration between different realities.
