Civil Protection: a talk on emergency organisation at Forum PA
The appointment is on 17 May at 3.30 PM at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome
"Organizzare l’emergenza: l’intervento italiano per il terremoto in Turchia e Siria" (Organising the emergency: the Italian intervention for the earthquake in Turkey and Syria) is the title of the talk that the Civil Protection Department is organising as part of the 2023 edition of Forum PA, the event that will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome from 16 to 18 May.
The appointment - scheduled for Wednesday 17 May, from 3.30 to 4.30 PM in Room 2 - will be an opportunity to share the characteristics that an immediate, supportive and organised response from institutions should have in the event of an emergency, and the challenges ahead. The speakers will include people who took part in the large Italian team that intervened last February in Turkey to bring relief and assistance to the populations hit by the 7.9 earthquake that struck the southeast of the country and northern Syria on the night of 6 February: David Fabi, from the Civil Protection Department, Luca Rosiello, from the National Fire Department, Massimiliano Di Biagio, from the Regional Health Emergency Service ARES 118 Lazio, and Nicola Tommasoni, from 118 Piedmont.
