Ecobale Emergency, new restrictions on navigation, fishing and bathing

Ordinance n. 55/2020 is now online. It establishes new limits on the prohibitions to navigation, fishing, bathing and the performance of any activity, underwater and surface, at a distance of less than 1 mile from the naval units of the Navy engaged in the search, location and recovery of secondary solid fuel ecobale (CSS) located on the seafloor of the Gulf of Follonica.

The measure, which repeals Order No. 50/2020, will be effective until August 31, 2020, from dawn to dusk, and until the end of the activities.

The sea areas affected by the activities are enclosed by the conjunction of the points of coordinates indicated in the new ordinance.
