Assessing emergency operations in Sicily at the center of a webinar to be held Wednesday, June 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
The online event is part of the cycle of seminars organized under the program "Civil Protection: towards a stronger governance for risk reduction" by the Department of Civil Protection in collaboration with the Agency for Territorial Cohesion and the regions involved in the activities of the program. The webinar is realized with the support of the National Research Council.
In the field of seismic risk, Sicily has started the path of analysis and evaluation of the operation for civil protection purposes for Territorial Contexts. In the online seminar will be illustrated general methodology and application in the experimental contexts of Lentini and Catania. The topics of structural assessment of strategic buildings, non-structural assessment and information system will also be discussed.
