Ukraine Emergency: the support of civil protection volunteers in the management of reception operations
The Associations of the Civil Protection Department will operate in Poland and Slovakia
The teams of civil protection voluntary associations activated by the Department set off for Poland and Slovakia to provide support in the management of humanitarian flows of Ukrainian citizens to Italy.
The operators of ANA, ANPAS, ASPROC, CIVES, Misericordie, Prociv Italia and Psicologi per i Popoli will work in the hubs of Korczowa and Przemysl in Poland and in Humenné and Michalovce in Slovakia with the coordination of the Department officials already on site.
The aim is to guarantee the best assistance to Ukrainian citizens who will be welcomed in Italy, through an accurate monitoring of departures towards our country and a first recognition of their needs.
