The Head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabrizio Curcio has signed an ordinance that regulates the reception, relief and assistance to the Ukrainian population in Italy.

The Civil Protection Ordinance no. 881 regulates the procedures for the reception of refugees, through notices of expressions of interest addressed to the Third Sector, the Volunteer Service Centers, institutions and associations included in the list referred to in Article 42 of Legislative Decree no. 286 of 1998 and religious bodies legally recognized, for the people requiring temporary protection.

The procedures of the call for expressions of interest will provide forms and methods to support beneficiaries with assistance and reception services, which can be activated up to a maximum of 15 thousand places.

The ordinance recognizes people seeking temporary protection a contribution of support equal to 300 euros per month per capita and, in the presence of minors, is recognized an additional monthly contribution of 150 euros for each child under the age of 18 years.

"This ordinance - said the Head of Department Fabrizio Curcio - is the result of teamwork to implement an integrated approach between the Civil Protection System and other institutions, an innovative approach that will allow us to implement a system with different skills.
