Earthquake: magnitude 4.4 in the Cosenza area

Following the seismic event recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in the province of Cosenza at 17:02 with magnitude ML 4.4, assessments are underway on any damage to people or things by the Situation Room Italy of the Department of Civil Protection in contact with the local bodies of the National Civil Protection Service.

The earthquake - with epicenter located between the municipalities of Rende, Castrolibero and Marano Marchesato in the province of Cosenza - was felt by the population.
