Coronavirus: 98.273 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 98.273 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 147.577.
In detail: there are currently 29.530 in Lombardy, 13.350 in Emilia-Romagna, 11.576 in Piemonte, 10.647 in Veneto, 5.822 in Toscana, 3.301 in Liguria, 3.316 nelle Marche, 3.633 nel Lazio, 2.963 in Campania, 1.994 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.336 in Puglia, 1.398 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.967 in Sicilia, 1.635 in Abruzzo, 1.317 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 752 in Umbria, 876 in Sardegna, 786 in Calabria, 602 in Valle d’Aosta, 279 in Basilicata e 193 in Molise.
30.455 patients have recovered. 18.849 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
