Coronavirus: 83.049 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 83.049 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 115.242.
In detail: there are currently 25.876 positive cases in Lombardy, 1.859 in Emilia-Romagna, 8.578 in Veneto, 8.799 in Piedmont, 3.555 in the Marche, 4.789 in Tuscany, 2.660 in Liguria, 2.879 in Lazio, 2.140 in Campania, 1.587 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 1.864 in Puglia, 1.294 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.160 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 1.606 in Sicily, 1.251 in Abruzzo, 885 in Umbria, 556 in the Aosta Valley, 718 in Sardinia, 627 in Calabria, 233 in Basilicata, 133 in Molise.
18.278 patients have recovered. 13.915 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
