Coronavirus: 57.521 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 57.521 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 74.386.

In detail: there are currently 20.591 positive cases in Lombardy, 8.256 in Emilia-Romagna, 5.745 in Veneto, 5.556 in Piedmont, 2.639 in the Marche, 2.776 in Tuscany, 1.826 in Liguria, 1.675 nel Lazio, 1.072 in Campania, 1.058 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 1.023 in Puglia, 911 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 748 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 936 in Sicily, 738 in Abruzzo, 686 in Umbria, 375 in the Aosta Valley, 412 in Sardinia, 333 in Calabria, 112 in Basilicata e 53 in Molise.

9.362 patients have recovered. 7.503 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
