Coronavirus: 54.030 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 54.030 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 69.176.
In detail: there are currently 18.910 positive cases in Lombardy, 7.220 in Emilia-Romagna, 5.351 in Veneto, 5.124 in Piedmont, 2.497 in the Marche, 2.519 in Tuscany, 1.545 in Liguria, 1.414 nel Lazio, 992 in Campania, 848 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 975in the autonomous Province of Trento, 699 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 940 in Puglia, 799 in Sicily, 622 in Abruzzo, 624 in Umbria, 379 in the Aosta Valley, 395 in Sardinia, 304 in Calabria, 91 in Basilicata e 55 in Molise.
8.326 patients have recovered. 6.820 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
