Coronavirus: 37.860 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 37.860 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 47.021.
In detail: there are currently 15.420 positive cases in Lombardy, 5.089 in Emilia-Romagna, 3.677 in Veneto, 3.244 in Piedmont, 1.844 in the Marche, 1.713 in Tuscany, 1.001 in Liguria, 912 in Lazio, 702 in Campania, 555 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 600 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 530 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 551 in Puglia, 379 in Sicily, 422 in Abruzzo, 384 in Umbria, 257 in the Aosta Valley, 288 in Sardinia, 201 in Calabria, 39 in Molise and 52 in Basilicata.
5.129 patients have recovered. 4.032 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
