Coronavirus: 33.190 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 33.190 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 41.035.

In detail: there are currently 13.938 positive cases in Lombardy, 4.506 in Emilia-Romagna, 3.169 in Veneto, 2.754 in Piedmont, 1.622 in the Marche, 1.422 in Tuscany, 883 in Liguria, 741 in Lazio, 605 in Campania, 522 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 491 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 421 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 449 in Puglia, 321 in Sicily, 366 in Abruzzo, 328 in Umbria, 209 in the Aosta Valley, 204 in Sardinia, 164 in Calabria, 38 in Molise and 37 in Basilicata.

4.440 patients have recovered. 3.405 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
