Coronavirus: 28.710 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 28.710 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 35.713.
In detail: there are currently 12.266 positive cases in Lombardy, 3.915 in Emilia-Romagna, 2.953 in Veneto, 2.187 in Piedmont, 1.476 in the Marche, 1.291 in Tuscany, 744 in Liguria, 650 in Lazio, 423 in Campania*, 416 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 436 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 366 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 362 in Puglia, 267 in Sicily, 249 in Abruzzo, 241 in Umbria, 162 in the Aosta Valley, 132 in Sardinia, 126 in Calabria, 21 in Molise and 27 in Basilicata.
4.025 patients have recovered. 2.978 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
