Coronavirus: 219 cases detected in Italy

At the headquarters of the Civil Protection Department, the work of the Operational Committee continues in order to ensure the coordination of the interventions of the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. 

As part of the health monitoring of the spread of Coronavirus on the national territory, 219 people in 5 regions are currently infected.

In detail: the confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Lombardy are 167, 27 in Veneto, 18 in Emilia-Romagna, 4 in Piedmont, 3 in Lazio. The hospitalized patients with symptoms are 99, 23 are in intensive care, while 91 are in home isolation. One person is cured, while 5 are deceased.
