Coronavirus: 2.263 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 2,263 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 2,502.
In detail: there are currently 1,326 positive cases in Lombardy, 398 in Emilia-Romagna, 297 in Veneto, 56 in Piedmont, 59 in the Marche, 30 in Campania, 19 in Liguria, 18 in Tuscany, 11 in Lazio, 13 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 5 in Sicily, 6 in Puglia and 6 in Abruzzo, 4 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 3 in Molise, 8 in Umbria, 1 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 1 in Calabria, 1 in Sardinia and 1 in Basilicata.
160 patients have recovered. 79 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
