Coronavirus: 62.013 positive cases

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 62.013 people have tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 80.539.
In detail: there are currently 22.189 positive cases in Lombardy, 8.850 in Emilia-Romagna, 6.140 in Veneto, 5.950 in Piedmont, 2.795 in the Marche, 2.973 in Tuscany, 2.027 in Liguria, 1.835 nel Lazio, 1.169 in Campania, 1.094 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 1.095 in Puglia, 954 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 791 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 1.095 in Sicily, 860 in Abruzzo, 770 in Umbria, 378 in the Aosta Valley, 462 in Sardinia, 372 in Calabria, 133 in Basilicata e 81 in Molise.
10.361 patients have recovered. 8.165 died, however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
