Ecurie system

The ECURIE (European Community Urgent Radiological Information Exchange) system was created by the European Commission for a quick information exchange on nuclear accidents as provided for by the Directive of the European Council 87/600/EURATOM.
Ecurie, created by the European Union in 1987 after Chernobyl disaster, is a system to which all European member countries participate to voluntarily, in addition to all the mandatory prevention and control mechanisms.
