International delegations 2011 visits
After having recognized the importance of sharing and information exchange activities, the Civil Protection Department organized guided visits with delegation of representatives of civil protection of other countries interested to Italy and to its one of a kind system.
This moments of discussion are part of the international competences of the Department and interventions abroad - as disciplined by law no. 152 of 2005 of the European Civil Protection Mechanism - , promotion of simultation drills, joined programmes and mutual assistance for signing bilateral agreements.
The operating premises of the Civil Protection Department hosted so far the delegation of the European Mechanism, of the international master in Social Sciences and Humanitarian Affairs, delegates of the Peruvian Ministry of Defence, of Montenegro, and of United Arab Emirates.
The most recents visits at the Civil Protection Department are: the Russian Federation, the Lebanese delegation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Italian tour of the English delegation and visit of the Taiwan delegation.
