 The Office handles the management of all contractual relationships entered into by the Department. It also provides the setting, the management and control of budget and financial policies, the provision and management of all accounting documents and financial and administrative management of the affairs relating to the activities of the various Services of the Department. It manages relations with institutional bodies.

Operating offices in the position of functional dependency by Office V :

• The consignee who performs the tasks set by Prime Ministerial Decree of 22 November 2010 laying down the rules of financial accounting and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The consignee shall ensure the management and safekeeping of items of inventory, including uniforms of the Department. The consignee shall also proceed to the regular visa and clearance for the procurement of goods and services related to general functioning, if not allocated on an accrual basis to other offices;
• The Officer that handles the deed of departmental acts.
