The Office handles the promotion, training, support and development of the voluntary civil protection work and manages relationships with related organizations, in order to address the unit participation to the activities of civil protection.
It provides training and professional updating of staff of the Department, setting priorities, planning and overseeing the implementation of initiatives.
It promotes, directs, supports and connects the training activities of civil protection and operational structures of the different components of the national service.
The Office also develops and promotes the knowledge of civil protection, especially between institutions and citizens, and ensure internal communication, external and inter-institutional, pursuing the goals of transparency and administrative simplicity.
