Civil Protection Department

The Service promotes the relations between central government and regional governments for civil protection affairs. It promotes relationships through shared programs and in liaison with relevant departments, with all components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service and the National Commission of Major Hazards.

It deals with the Joint Committee on State-Regions-Local Authorities and all other bodies or associations of territorial autonomy.

It cares for the granting of the preliminary events sponsored by the Civil Protection, in liaison with relevant departments. It provides training in the investigation and proceedings related to the acts of recognition of merit and special gifts.

Moreover, it monitors and reviews the implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding entered into by the Department, in collaboration with the responsible departments
