The training service handles relations with the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for the development and implementation of the annual traininr plan of the Civil Protection Department. Furthermore, it identifies, in collaboration with the offices, the needs for training and updating needs of the Department's personnel and projects, plans, implements and monitors the activities towards that purpose.
The service promotes, addresses, supports and connects all civil protection training activities of the various components of the national service, creating and developing projects that enable, in particular, to train and update the figures that operate during civil protection emergencies. It also promotes and facilitates the organization of workshops to mature knowledge of civil protection operations, belonging both to the Department and external structures, as a result of emergency or drill activities, through the exchange of experiences and analysis of lessons learned.
Finally, the service takes care of the authorization requirements for the participation of Department staff in educational projects as teachers
