International Agreements

This section lists the international agreements and technical cooperation pacts for civil protection signed by the Italian State and foreign countries or by the Civil Protection Department with similar institutions in foreign countries and International Organisations.
These agreements, which come in different forms (Treaty, Memorandum, Protocol, Exchange of Letters, etc.), promote the development of joint programmes and projects, in particular in the fields of forecasting, prevention and mitigation of natural and man-made risks, in management of emergency situations and reciprocal assistance in the event of calamities.
